Marketing Specialist - Schaefer City Technologies

Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, with direct interaction with the CEO, the Marketing Coordinator will support Schaefer City Techs’ marketing and business development efforts. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, self-motivated, and committed to excellence with outstanding attention to detail. This person must be able to build positive relationships in a remote working environment and must be able to travel to support periodic trade shows and meetings.

As the Marketing Specialist, you will craft social media campaigns, write marketing content and other collateral, coordinate design projects, produce presentations, support the sales pipeline, and support the overall growth of the company. You will be successful because you have impeccable organization and strong project management skills. You may lead projects and can be trusted to work both independently and collaboratively on assigned tasks, respond to requests from team members in a timely and accurate manner, and follow up to ensure completion.

Position Responsibilities

  • Support planning and implementation of all Schaefer City Tech marketing and business development initiatives
  • Work with principals, senior staff, and other team members to design, write, and produce marketing materials, presentations, and thought leadership collateral in alignment with brand standards
  • Coordinate business development activities, including managing incoming leads, follow-up, and tracking of opportunity status
  • Research event conferences, professional organizations, and other topics as assigned
  • Craft and manage social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Coordinate ordering and distribution of client gifts and marketing collateral
  • Support trade shows and other events
  • Execute other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a marketing support role in a SaaS or other technology company
  • Proficiency in MS Suite (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional service mindset toward clients and colleagues
  • Ability to act independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to take direction from cross-functional teams and prioritize projects
  • Experience creating impactful visual presentations
  • Minimal travel possible
